By choosing carbon neutrality, a company or organisation chooses to take responsibility for the true impact of its CO 2 emissions instead of shifting it to society & future generations.

Opinum decided to commission CO2logic to calculate the carbon footprint related to its activities.

The emissions that are produced by a company can be separated in 3 scopes.

Scope 1 - GHG emissions directly emitted from its offices & vehicules.

Scope 2 - GHG emissions indirectly emitted through energy consumption.

Scope 3 - other GHG emissions that are indirectly emitted.

Concrete actions

Business travels

Business travels by trains, as well as meetings done by videoconferencing, are preferred when possible.

Bicycles

Kilometric allowances are given to employees using bicycles to come to the office.

Remote work

We work remotely for 3 days a week to reduce GHG emissions due to commuting.

Second-hand cars

We switched to second-hand company vehicles.

Compensation

We compensate our emissions by investing in CO2-reducing or CO2-absorbing projects.
